Together We Sing, Together We Give
At KLSings, singing is just part of the story. As our voices rise in harmony, our hearts reach out to the community—through local performances or our own fundraisers. From community singalongs to birthday-recital events, every note we raise invites giving back.
Cheryl’s Annual Fundraiser, usually held in May or June, began as a virtual open mic during the 2020 Covid lockdown and grew into a full-fledged fundraiser by 2021. Today, it is a cherished part of KLSings’ annual program, with choirs and friends singing for a meaningful cause.
Our main beneficiary is Perak Women for Women (PWW), a registered, non-profit NGO supporting women in Perak. Through our Merry and Bright Christmas event, we raise funds for PWW’s breakfast program at SRJK (T) Changkat Ladang Kinding, an estate school near Chemor. Many students come from low-income families, often led by single mothers, and our goal is to ensure every child receives a nutritious breakfast each school day.
We also support other NGOs and organisations by sharing our voices at their fundraising events.
