VoxPop Choir
Our VoxPop (“Voice of the People”) Choir is a warm, no-audition community where everyone can sing — whether you’re an absolute beginner, a seasoned choir singer, or someone simply rediscovering their voice. If you’ve ever wished for a friendly place to make music without pressure, you’ll feel right at home here.

How It Works
We meet every Sunday afternoon for relaxed 2-hour sessions (with a short tea break!) at Harmony Hall PJ, Section 19, Petaling Jaya. Each session begins with gentle warm-ups for body, brain, and voice, followed by learning songs taught entirely by ear. Lyrics, scores, and learning tracks are provided, so no musical background is needed.
Most importantly, VoxPop is a safe, supportive, and laughter-filled space — a place to grow your confidence, meet wonderful people, and experience the magic of singing together.

Do I need to audition?
No auditions at all! VoxPop is a welcoming, open-to-all choir. If you enjoy singing — even just in the shower — you’re welcome.
Do I need any music background or the ability to read scores?
Not at all. Songs are taught by ear, and we provide lyrics, scores, and learning tracks for support. Enthusiasm is all you need.
What kind of songs do you sing?
We sing an uplifting mix of familiar favourites and new, feel-good tunes. Our repertoire is joyful, accessible, and always fun.
When and where do you meet?
We meet on Sunday afternoon for about 2 hours at Harmony Hall PJ, 3Two Square, Petaling Jaya.
What are the sessions like?
Each session includes:

Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Harmony Hall PJ has lift access for easy entry.
Is parking available?
Yes. AT 3Two Square there’s parking on street level or covered parking in the basement. RM3 per entry after 7pm, weekends and public holidays.
Is the hall comfortable and safe?
Absolutely. Our hall is spacious, well-ventilated, regularly sanitized and comfortable.
Can beginners join?
Definitely! VoxPop is perfect for beginners, returning singers, and seasoned choir members alike.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, your voice, and your enthusiasm. We provide the rest — lyrics, scores, learning tracks, and lots of encouragement!
